Bug Description

After recent updates on hardy, 21/02/2008, the power manager is showing weird behaviour as follows:

1. The option in power preferences is set to show icon on discharging or charging, but running on battery shows no icon.
2. On setting preference show icon always, I do get the battery icon, but the icon resembles a 'battery on AC' one.
3. The notification on battery icon says, Computer is running on battery power, Laptop Battery fully charged (80%), Battery charge time is currently unknown. However the 80% is updated only after some time. (which i feel is not accurate, It is showing 80% for last 5 minutes)
4. Clicking on battery information says, Status is charged.
5. Connecting the AC adapter, again indicates that battery charged (XX%) [and not charging...]

I can confirm this on a Thinkpad T43p after updating last night. For me, its stuck at:

Computer is running on battery power.
Laptop battery fully charged (99%)
Battery charge time is currently unknown

If I plug in, I can get it to say Computer is plugged in, charging, etc, but still no battery state and always at 99%. Addtionally, the tray icon is always the "I'm plugged in and fully charged" icon.
