Bug Description
Binary package hint: gnome-power-manager
Hi all,
I get the following symptons :-
I am on Hardy 8.04 with all updates.
1. While working many a times the screen/monitor goes blank
2. When it goes blank then I don't get access back by clicking either on mouse or keyboard.
3. I have to restart the system either cold-starting or using SysRQ magic.
This is the output of gconftool-2 -R /apps/gnome-

Attaching the lspci as well as dmesg
First I thought it is bug #30969 hence I added this section in xorg.conf . I have added them today itself but can't say if it works or not until few days.
Section "ServerFlags"
Option "BlankTime" "0"
Option "StandbyTime" "0"
Option "SuspendTime" "0"
Option "OffTime" "0"
EndSection
This is the output of get-edid , don't ask me the last 2 lines which are unreadable. I can also send the get-edid to a file but don't get anywhere.
