Bug Description
GNOME Power Statistics shows nothing on Ubuntu 18.04, just the "cannot enable timerstats" error. See the attached screenshot.

Thank you for your bug report. What sort of computer do you use? On a laptop it should least batteries info, on a desktop indeed you get only the CPU information and that seems buggy. /bugs.debian. org/cgi- bin/bugreport. cgi?bug= 689298

It might have to do with upower/kernel options, needs investigation
