Bug Description

Binary package hint: gnome-power-manager

Just managed to get my session to resume after suspend again using the patch from this bug:

https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/acpi-support/+bug/136453

When I resume though the suspend light is constantly flashing and a bubble pops up saying that suspend fails and would I like to visit the quirks website.

Suspend and resume seem to work fine though, wireless and sound both come back on correctly and a cursory examination of the logs doesn't reveal anything particularly awry.

Running a Thinkpad R61 with fully up to date Gutsy.

Thank you for your bug report. Do you still get the issue? Could you read https://wiki.ubuntu.com/DebuggingGNOMEPowerManager and attach the debug information as described there?

I don't seem to be getting it in Hardy. I don't know whether it still affects Gutsy.

Suspend is tickety boo now except for the infamous back light not turning back on problem.
