Nothing happens when I do suspend, reboot to fix

Bug Description
When I manually do suspend from the top bar, nothing happens. This can happen after it has worked for a number of days.
Then I need to reboot and then it works again.

Doing this manually in a terminal did a succesful suspend
$ dbus-send --print-reply --system --dest= org.freedesktop .UPower /org/freedeskto p/UPower org.freedesktop .UPower. Suspendmethod return sender=:1.22 -> dest=:1.712 reply_serial=2
