Brightness and Volume laptop keys behave inconsistently

Bug Description
Holding the volume up button causes the volume to continually go up. The same doesn't work for brightness - the button has to be repeatedly pressed.
This inconsistency can be confusing for users. I believe the preferable behaviour is that of the volume buttons.
