Removing dleyna (whatever it is) and killing the process gets rid of this problem.

sudo aptitude remove dleyna-renderer dleyna-server
sudo kill -9 {dleyna pid}

There porbably is a more correct way to fix this problem.

It also opens several ports on my PC and keeps exchanging lots of UPNP messages. Isn't this a security hole? I am using Ubuntu 17.10.

It's also happening on Ubuntu 17.10. I had to remove the package and kill the process because it was killing the battery.
