The failure is:

$ gnome-phone-manager

Gtk-ERROR **: GTK+ 2.x symbols detected. Using GTK+ 2.x and GTK+ 3 in the same process is not supported
Trace/breakpoint trap (core dumped)
$

(I think gtk's handling of the failure has been improved since these bugs were filed.)

This needs to be fixed by updating gnome-phone-manager to the gtk3 versions of the libraries.

Weird, because I tested this and actually ran into precisely that crash, yet later managed to run gnome-phone-manager successfully. Regardless, I'll take another look.

Dah, getting mixed up in bugs. This is one specific to Natty, will need to be fixed separately, but fortunately there are commits upstream which should be pretty easy to backport to the natty release.

ehcpdeveloper are you still seeing this issue? This is fixed in later releases, so please comment back here if you're still using natty and running into this crash -- I haven't had time to look into yet, and it unfortunately doesn't look like I'll have time anytime soon; but if it's still in use for a reason I'll *make* time to fix the bug.
