Bug Description
Release: Ubuntu 10.04.3 LTS
gnome-panel version: 1:2.30.2-0ubuntu0.2
When I log into a new user session on my laptop, I expect that the indicators in gnome-panel on the top right are:
1) displayed clearly and without obstruction and
2) displayed in the same position as when I logged out last
What actually happens is rather random (possibly related to the speed I login from gdm when my laptop boots). Occasionally, when I log in, the indicators in the top left are both obscured (either by another indicator, or an invisible object), and out of position. Re-organising their position does not fix the fact that they are obscured. Crucially, logging out then back in again will always fix the problem.
