Bug Description

Binary package hint: gnome-panel

Enabling upstream_session in gconf-editor let you "close the session" but there is now way to shutdown/reboot...

It works with original gnome!

Thank you for your bug. What version of Ubuntu do you use? How do you try to close the session? There is 2 menu items with the upstream mode, if you use the panel launcher you only have half of the options available

Using dev ubuntu version with gnome 2.17.91.
In menu, i only have one menu item :(

This upload fixes the bug:

 gnome-panel (2.17.92-0ubuntu4) feisty; urgency=low
 .
   * debian/patches/17_change_socket_directory.patch:
     - use the correct location and updated logic to use the new path,
       fix upstream session mode (Ubuntu: #85340)
