Bug Description
Up to Maverick, GNOME Panels can be messed up if there are dual monitors with different screen resolutions or any other unforeseen reasons.
There is no GUI or button to "Reset Top and Bottom Panels".
Currently the best solution is:
gconftool-2 – -shutdown OR gconftool – -recursive-unset /apps/panel
rm -rf ~/.gconf/apps/panel
pkill gnome-panel
I propose that a GUI or Reset Panels button be created in an update.
Thanks.
