Binary package hint: gnome-panel
I didnt changed trash location- it changed itself.
Strange things happening to one my Login on clean Ubuntu 10.04.2
also on same user happened bug 788591 - NM-Applet changed its position out of screen and after restart back in screen but still on wrong side.
