Bug Description
Binary package hint: gnome-panel
This bug seems very similar to Bug #77797 but here goes.
Immediately after todays update, even before the notification that I need to restart appeared, the crash collector (whatever it's called) told me that gnome-panel had crashed. The only thing I can see that's not working right is that the gnome-power-manager icon (the battery) got thrown off the panel and onto the desktop in a window. Last time I saw this crash it was back where it should be if I reset the icon in 'System > Preferences > Power Management' - I'll let you know if that doesn't happen this time.
Other than that gnome-panel seems to be working fine.
