Bug Description
Binary package hint: skype
When Skype starts up on login, it has a new feature that the icon is rendered as 1 lone pixel on the top right. If you restart Skype by right click on the pixel and Quit, restart, it sorts the problem out. I installed Skype from a download deb. Version of Skype 2.2.0.25.

I solved the problem by uninstalling skype and then reinstalling from the repos through Software Centre. I did notice that the problem came back today after I installed a "partial upgrade" using Update Manager.
