Bug Description

hi, i'm using ubuntu edgy for amd64, and i noticed that if i drag and drop an icon on the gnome panel it disappears, and a new "question mark" icon comes out.

how to reproduce:

drag an icon (i used firefox one) from the desktop to the gnome panel and drop it. now drag it again from the panel and drop near it's position, you must not create a new icon but simply move that one.
after 2 moves the icon disappears and the question mark come out.

it's not a dangerous or annoying bug.. only a marginal one.

Note: the original reporter indicated the bug was in package 'gnome-panel2'; however, that package was not published in Ubuntu.

I confirm this problem on Edgy for i386.
Dragging and dropping a launcher 2 times in a row on the panel changes the launcher into an empty launcher with a question mark indication (see attachment).
