Bug Description

In short:
1. Creating shortcut on Desktop, moving them by drag'n'drop to gnome-panel and delate shortcut on desktop cause that that shortcut on panel is disappeaer after next login.

2. Moving shortcuts between 2 panels via drag 'n'drop method cause that this shortcut disappear (no icon, no other informations, only gnome-foot-qestion is showing).

More informations about this bug:
When you click right button on shortcut and choose "move" then you can simply
move this icon e.g. to other panel without any problems.
But when you catch this icon by drag'n'drop method - you can move this shortcut
to other panel, but when you drop - then instead of default icon there will be
gnome foot icon (no shortcut).

There is also one thing: when you try to move one shortcut form desktop to one
panel and after that move it to another panel - then it works...but once again
move to another panel shows the same problem.

Best Regards
Pawel

I have the same problem, when moving an icon along the panel (drag&drop) the link disappears (remains a blank icon);
also when moving the entire panel from one side to the other of the screen and then put it back, the icons lose their original position_
