Taskbar loses Shutdown Icon...

Bug Description

OS: Ubuntu 10.04 LTS

OBSERVED: Intermittently the task bar loses the Shutdown Button & Replaces it with the Machine name

EXPECTED: This should not happen

NOTES:
- This started happening after adding Quick Lauch icons to the taskbar
- Screenshot attached

This looks like a fairly well know graphics glitch. Is it still like that after logout/login or reboot?

This also happens to me. To solve this, every time it happens I press "Alt + F2", write "xkill" and hit "Run". The pointer is now going to be an "X". You only have to put the pointer over the Task Bar and click.

How can this be a duplicate of a defect that was logged after this on ... ?

This was Reported before 629527 :)
