Window list feature request: Launcher icons and window grouping

Able to create launcher icon for program in window list. Whitch would show as only icon if not runing.

When program runing, launcher would change to icon+title block, like it is now (Window list v2.30.2). When more windows are open on single program they would stay together in window list.
if not enough space they would group under one block, like it does currently too.

Window blocks would stay in launchers order.

Yes it is like in windows 7 when taskbar is set to: combine when taskbar is full. And this behaviour im looking for. I hope my explanation was good enough.

Yes, I would like that feature too. Until it gets implemented, you could try some alternative panel applets for window management like Talika, Dockbar, or DockbarX.

DockbarX atleast do not have icon+title option when program is runing.
https://bugs.launchpad.net/dockbar/+bug/605850 requested at there too.

Talika, AWM and Cairo atleast on screenshots are icons only too.

I would need to create account in upstream. I wait while if someone else who has account there allready to do that.
No point to create account and waste their space to possible only one feature request for my part.

if youre not interested on sending it upstream i'm closing the bug, as said it should be filed upstream. Ubuntu doesn't have the resources to work on this bug so setting it as Opinion.
