Bug Description

Binary package hint: gnome-panel

To reproduce:
1. Create application launcher on desktop
2. Drug-and-drop to the panel
3. REMOVE launcher from the desktop

The launcher on gnome-panel will stay alive (IT WORKS?!) until user logout.
Attempt to copy (drug-and-drop) the launcher from gnome-panel to another location will fail (because file /home/../Desktop/<..>.desktop does not exist).

It was really confusing for me when launcher disappeared from gnome-panel after reboot.

Suggested solution:
Copy the launcher to /home/../.gnome2/panel2.d/default/launchers, or monitor if original launcher file was removed.
