Bug Description

Binary package hint: gnome-panel

When the desktop starts up and I, for example, click on the message menu, the clock applet doesn't light up. So far it's good.
But when I've clicked on the clock applet so that the calendar shows up, and then close it again, the clock applet lights up like i was hovering the mouse above it when I click on the message menu again (or the me menu, or the sound etc.).

To reproduce:
Click on an arbitary applet. The clock doesn't react on it.
Click on the clock so that the calendar shows up, and then close it.
Click on an arbitary appley again and you'll see that the clock lights up.
Run killall gnome-panel and the clock doesn't light up anymore.
