Bug Description
Binary package hint: gnome-panel
On Lucid Lynx Desktop 64 bit, running on Sony Vaio Z555DN, NVidia 195.36.15 drivers for GEForce 9300 M GS, the gnome panel applets appear distorted "most of the time" after waking up from hibernation and sometimes after normal restart.
I have been trying to find a mechanism for reproducing this since Beta2, not successful. just happens randomly. after seeing it also happens on GeForce 330M on my friend's machine, I decided to report it. I am attaching two screen shots of the panel getting distorted after reboot
Thank you for any help or comment,
Rex from Vancouver

If it helps, attached is a screenshot in the correct state. once distorted, the panel stays distorted even after rebooting. the only way to get things back to normal is to remove and re-add the applets to the panel.
