Bug Description

Binary package hint: bluez

This is probably a gnome-panel bug - but it is specific to the Bluetooth icon. Upon login, the bluetooth icon is doubled on the panel. One is real, the other just an image. I have my desktop affects set to 'Extra' and am using the Nvidia driver.

Hi Ken,

could you confirm if this is related to the indicator-applet introduced in lucid?

thanks

I have not seen the double icon since I reported this. I'm not sure if it was/is an indicator applet problem. Perhaps it is a paint problem with either the gnome-panel or the indicator applet. The bluetooth image is painted then the gnome-panel moves the indicator applet and does not clean up under the position where it was? Just a guess.

Take a look at the gnome panel. Bluetooth and battery indicator are doubled.

I have an intel 955, not nvidia, so I guess it's not related to that.
