This is trivially reproducable by installing Beagle.
Also, Beagle doesn't provide a proper superset of the gnome-search-tool
functionality, which would be the pre-requisite for it being a complete
replacement. |

Are you speaking about the "Places" menu item? Is that the feature of bug #38986 you are discuting? |

Beagle isn't the one changing the Places shortcut all on its own.
Sorry but I can't do anything with this on the beagle side. |
