disk utility crashed with 3/4 msgs. i'm a linux newb. i did not do much. just tried properties on an icon next to the thrash. now i cannot find that icon anymore...

i\ve used a liveCD *USB stick made with unetbootin for 10 minutes not installed yet, hence the disk manager. it crashed. i use the b2 of ubuntu 10.2_ is it_ the newest RC! .... i dont know much about linux but ive used computers since my first 8086 :D so i know i bug when i see one...
