Bug Description
Binary package hint: gnome-panel
I installed Lucid Beta 1, and gnome-panel started as expected. After the latest updates, it no longer starts on login, although it can be started by manually running "gnome-panel".

I'm experiencing the same thing. During the last batch of upgrades, there were parsing errors about invalid desktop files missing an entry.
