weather not updated for clock applet after suspend

Following a suspend/sleep period the weather display of the clock applet does not update.
In addition, the mouse-over tooltip that shows more details of the weather stops working.

To get normal behaviour back, you have to go into preferences and edit the location (no need to change anything, just hit OK) at which point the weather updates and the tooltip starts working again.

This happens for me in both jaunty and karmic. I use the Darkroom theme.

Thank you for your bug report. The issue is an upstream one and it would be nice if somebody having it could send the bug the to the people writting the software (https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Bugs/Upstream/GNOME)

I cannot repeat this with Karmic any more, so I guess it has been fixed already

I can no longer reproduce this in Lucid. Temperature seems to update and tooltip works after suspend.

I have this problem on Lucid. I also had the same bug on Karmic. The weather displayed after resume is the value shown at suspend and never updates. The weather information for the other time zones disappears.
Doing a 'killall clock-applet', restarts the clock, all weather information is shown and then updates correctly.

Yes, I do still have the issue on Lucid as well, though it seems sometimes the full popup comes back even though the info isn't update. (It fooled me.)

I have the same issue with Time not being updated in 11.04 Ubuntu Classic session.
