gnome-panel crashed with SIGSEGV in IA__gtk_widget_show()

2. W: Unable to locate package packagename <- when using apt-cache policy packagename
3 and 4: didn't expect anything to happen really, just booted ubuntu and logged in.

This might be the same as alot of the other reported bugs, but this one had IA_gtk_widget_show() and not the exact syntax as the other bugs. made a new report just to be sure :)

uhm, right, brainfart. i did apt-cache policy packagename instead of apt-cache policy gnome-panel which was probably what I should have done.

right, the info I got was this:
