Bug Description

I am no doubt filing this in the wrong place so please switch it for me if you know where it belongs; I did try searching in synaptic etc. for "recent documents".

Using Dapper Beta, updated.

It would be great if one could get the normal Nautilus right-click menu when they right-click on a document in the "recent documents" list. I wanted to "open with" on one of them and was disappointed that it wasn't possible.

I think that this feature is part of the following upstream feature request :

This would indeed be great to have.

That might be fixed with the new "recently used" GTK implementation

This seems like the place to put the option requested in #174317.

I'd also like to see a "remove" option in the right-click menu so that you can remove one from the list--as opposed to delete the underlying file. I would argue that Delete should be omitted from the Recent Documents menu to avoid confusion and/or accidents.

This has been fixed for some time. It works for me using GNOME Classic in Ubuntu Vivid.
