The panel menus (Applications, Places and System) will sometimes hide some of the items, and other times will not.

i'd like to confirm this; this also happens here

randomly, the menulists seem to hide some of the items - so one have to scroll to see them .. this happens even though there is enough space on the screen to show the whole list of items

this has happened for at least the last week i believe

Thanks for your bug. Is your planned placed on the bottom of the screen? Is that the same issue than bug #30146? What version of Ubuntu do you use?

It happens when you update the system and probably also when you install new programs that are added to the menus.

My panels are placed at the bottom of the screen, yes. And I'm running updated Dapper.
