Bug Description

Binary package hint: gnome-menus

On Acer Aspire Netbook when switching between VGA output and built in lcd there is general flakiness. Switching out of VGA port mode back can also lead to a locked screen that I couldn't seen to escape out of without hard reboot. I suspect this would happen with other netbooks/notebooks as well.

Icons in the panel also like to get moved despite being "locked" to the panel.
