Bug Description

Binary package hint: gnome-panel

Hello,

I just upgraded to karmic. Every time I log in (which happens without a login screen, automatically to my user), I get a bunch of message windows saying that applets don't load. They say "The panel encountered a problem while loading "OAFIID:GNOME_IndicatorApplet". Do you want to delete the applet from your configuration?" (a different name for each applet, of course.)

If I log out and log in again, they appear as normal.

Thanks,
Noam

This is related to the half-proprietary app dropbox. I removed it, and now the windows don't show.

Unfortunately, it happens also without dropbox - perhaps dropbox makes it consistent.

Can you suggest a way to debug why the applets don't load?
