Binary package hint: gnome-panel

When I select Monochrome for system/preferences/font and open firefox or Rhythmbox music player, a pop-up window show up with unexpected gnome-panel exit error window.

Description of the crash:
When select system/preference/fonts/monocrome, I got following error
"Tne Aplication "gnome-panel" has quit unexpectedly"

Steps to reproduce the crash:
1. system/preference/fonts -> select monocrome
2. open firefox and surf
3. gnome-panel error window will pop-up

Expected Results:
Nothing

How often does this happen?
Always to me.

Additional Information:
I'm using XGL but normal gnome session shows same problem.

Thanks for your bug. What font do you use? Could you get a backtrace with a debug build of libcairo (https://wiki.ubuntu.com/DebuggingProgramCrash)?

I'm not sure of what you are trying to do with the *.change but I would rather try *.deb

I was trying to run following command in https://wiki.ubuntu.com/DebuggingProgramCrash .

D. Install the needed .debs (they will be in the current working directory if the build succeeded):

sudo debi <package>*.changes

Without this step done, I'm getting following message:

I have updated the gnome-panel to 2.14.1-0ubuntu14 and libcairo2 1.0.4-0ubuntu1 and the problem dispeared. Can be resolved now I guess.
