gnome-panel freezes on resume from suspend

Hi,

On Ubuntu 9.04 on my Dell XPS M1330, gnome-panel freezes on occasion when I resume from suspend. This happens about 1/3 of the time.

Attached is the most recent log from gnome-panel when it occurred, as well as a screenshot.

Thanks for your bug report. Please try to obtain a backtrace of the freeze http://wiki.ubuntu.com/DebuggingProgramCrash and attach the file to the bug report. This will greatly help us in tracking down your problem.

Oh, and after it freezes, running "gnome-panel --replace" also doesn't work. Log also attached.

the stacktrace there indicates it tries to get an icon for a remote location

Okay, how can I remove said icon, and shouldn't gnome-panel have a timeout or something for file IO?
