incorrect date for appointments in gnome-panel

Appointments are not properly integrated with the gnome-panel applet on my system.

What I expected to happen and what actually happens instead.

When I open the date & time applet on the panel, I would expect to see my all-day appointments in bold on the correct days. I instead see them on the day prior to the actual appointment as created in evolution. Further, when clicking on the day prior that is in bold, it shows the appointment name and gives an edit button. Hitting the edit button should open evolution and allow me to edit the appointment. Instead, it opens evolution and shows today's date instead.

Well, I can reproduce it, otherwise I wouldn't be reporting it...

When you open the date & time applet on the panel, you would see any appointments you have created in evolution on the day prior to the actual appointment as created. Further, when clicking on the day prior that is in bold, it would show the appointment name (which should be on the next day) and give an edit button. Hitting the edit button would open evolution and show today's date instead of opening to the appointment date.

that's not reproducible here, you might want to send it upstream.

Thank you for taking the time to look into this... I think an update has fixed the wrong date issue. I can confirm that the dates are correct now. But, when I open the calender by clicking on the clock on the panel, then selecting the date that has the appointment, then opening the appointments section, then clicking on the edit button, it still opens Evolution to today's date, rather than the date of the appointment. Can you confirm whether this is so?

I also see this same problem. All-day appointments created in Evolution show up a day early in the clock panel calendar. See attached screenshot.

Exact same issue. Running Ubuntu 9.10 with all updates. Date in clock panel shows a day earlier than in Evolution calendar.

Thanks for the report, it has been some time without any response or feedback in this bug report and we are wondering if this is still an issue for you with the latest release of Ubuntu the Natty Narwhal, May you please test with that version and comment back if you're still having or not the issue? This bug is still present in Natty Narwhal. Fresh install and all day appointments still show a day early in the clock panel.

Status changed to 'Confirmed' because the bug affects multiple users.

Also affects me, but not for every appointment. It only affects appointments of the next week.

Now it's Thursday. Events for tomorrow and Saturday are displayed correctly. But Monday’s appointments are displayed one day prior, as Sunday's appointments. This affects the displayed calendar and the list of upcoming appointments as well.

And again something to add: It seems to only affect whole-day-appointments (not sure if that's the correct term since i am using evolution in english)
