Bug Description
Build Version/Date: Karmic Updated 7/31/09
Environment used for testing: Dell XPS M1330
Summary:
Panel icons for running applications (Thunderbird notify, Banshee, Pidgin) no longer recognize panel transparency. It looks like they were rendered as non-transparent background images because each applet has a different color background with slightly different dimensions.
Steps to Reproduce:
1) Launch Banshee
2) Launch Pidgin
3) Adjust the transparency of the panel
Expected result:
Panel applets for the running apps have transparent backgrounds and therefore adopt the appearance of the panel
Actual result:
Banshee icon has a black background
Pidgin icon has a white background
