Bug Description

When clicking on the System menu in the gnome panel, the menu will appear over the top of the panel. This causes an unintentional logout when you have the logout confirmation dialog disabled. The Applications and Places menus do the same

Thanks for your bug. Could you make a screenshot of the issue? Where is placed you panel? How the position of the menu does impact on the actions you do?

It doesnt always happen and it appears that the print screen key doesn't do anything when the menu is open. To explain further, when clicking the system menu (when the panel is at the bottom of the screen) the "logout" option appears right under the cursor so when you release the button, it logs out immediately.

Is that the same issue than bug #30146 (it has a screenshot)?
