Bug Description

In Ubuntu 9.04 pre-release, when you hover the mouse over the "System" menu, the tooltips pop-up indicates:

"Change desktop appearance and behavior, get help, or log out." Yet there the log out option has been removed from the System pull down menu.

confirmed that minor issue due to the recent changes, the menu can have those options if there is no user switching applet though

The suggestion that I got for a string is simply:

"Change system appearance and behavior, or get help"

Strange - I am up to date and still see it. Are you sure you are running Jaunty?

I was just proposing text in that last comment. Sorry to confuse you
there.

Attached is a debdiff to fix this issue in the current gnome-panel. It
basically just changes the tooltip when FUSA is attached to the panel
the same as how the menus are handled.

This bug was fixed in the package gnome-panel - 1:2.26.0-0ubuntu2

---------------
gnome-panel (1:2.26.0-0ubuntu2) jaunty; urgency=low

  [ Michael Vogt ]
  * auto add indicator applet on upgrade (LP: #340777)
  * run the add-indicator-applet.py script after a shell
sleep of 60s. using time.sleep(60) inside the python
code does not work as expected makes it crash(!) deep inside
liborbit2 on the first gconf.set_bool() call

  [ Ted Gould ]
  * debian/patches/25_dynamic_fusa_detection.patch: Adjusting to
make it also change the tooltip saying whether there is logout
available on the system menu based on whether there is.
