Bug Description
The default installation of Dapper does not provide a gui method of unmounting media. When I introduce my USB external HD it is automounted, when I'm finished I have to resort to a terminal and issue 'umount /media/usbdisk'
Default behaviour could be an unmount option in the right click context menu anywhere where the automounted media is dislayed, but especially under places and in nautilus.
This may be a feature request, but I don't know where else to put it.

one can unmount the usbdrives (same way as ejecting cd/dvd)
go to Places->Computer (or nautilus menu: Go-> Computer)
right click on the usbdrive you want to unmount. at the bottom of the pop up menu select 'unmount Volume'
if you have the icons for your usbdrives on the desktop you can do the same thing there.
it works fine for me.
