Bug Description

Binary package hint: gnome-applets

The Window List Applet keeps the display of the labels of windows horizontally even on a vertical panel, making it useless in that configuration as names are not visible save for the first character or two.

thank you for your bug report, the selector works correctly on a vertical gnome-panel on my installation, could you do a screenshot showing the issue?

I apologize for having made a serious mistake in the description:
it is not the Window Selector (the one that presents them in a menu) but the Window List applet which creates buttons along the panel.
