When i select "birmingham" for my option of where (LOCATION) i live the options settings crash.
Clock still works fine up the corner but its annoying as i cant select where i live.

Offending selection is : Europe-United Kingdom-Midlands-Birmingham
Tried some others and they seem to be fine.

Confirmed. The gnome-panel is restarted when this happens, and I'm getting this is ~/.xsession-errors:
(gnome-panel:12854): GLib-GObject-CRITICAL **: g_type_instance_get_private: assertion `instance != NULL && instance->g_class != NULL' failed
