Bug Description
While modifying the Gnome Flashback Metacity panels:
I moved the top panel to the left. OK
Was changing which applets were shown, removing some, adding some.
The panel shifted almost off-screen, then flickered several times.
I got a display message that a problem kept happening, Gnome could not continue, and I would be logged out.
When I log in again with Flashback Metacity, this happens immediately.
Writing this up from Flashback Compiz.
