I think solving the problem instead of hiding it is always better. Upstream is working on this, let them do it.<br><br>Also, if a user has been able to configure a google calendar in evolution, he probably knows what he&#39;s doing. I don&#39;t think we should underestimate him.<br>

</div>Maybe this would be the best. For people using Google calendar, note<br>
that it is still possible (at least on my computer) to add it as a<br>
normal web calendar. As URL I use the &quot;Private Adress&quot; (iCal) given<br>
under the respective &quot;Calendar Details&quot; in Google&#39;s settings. This<br>
won&#39;t allow editing or adding new appointments into Google Calendar<br>
but at least they show up in the calendar view in the GNOME panel<br>
without freezing it.<br>
