Bug Description

Binary package hint: gnome-panel

Whenever an panel shortcut (launcher) is clicked and an item on the panel menu is clicked afterwards, the shortcut lights up as if it has been hovered over and the shortcut gains a dotted border around it ( like what you see when you press the tab key in Firefox). This behavior only ceases when one of three buttons are clicked on the panel. See screenshot for more info.

I am using Hardy Alpha 1 with no visual effects enabled (not even my nvidia driver is installed, waiting for the new r-m).
To reproduce this bug:
1. Click on a panel shortcut (not an applet!!!)
2. Click on the panel menu (Applications, Places, or System)
3. You will see your recently clicked shortcut gain a border and become highlighted

On a side note: Thank you for asking for more info, I finally found a program that would take screenshots w/out having to capture the mouse (as w/ gnome's default screenshot application).
