The Gnome panel crashes after open .ppt file

Bug Description

I dont know for sure if this is a Gnome or Ubuntu problem, but it crashes 3
machines till now. I received a .ppt file, and after opening it with openoffice
1.1.3, the "gnome panel" crashes.
I will attach the file, hope it helps.

seems to be a crash due to the filename and recent files. Can you get a
backtrace of the crash (the bug-buddy dialog displayed after the crash to send
the bug upstream has it)?
