Bug Description

Binary package hint: gnome-panel

I right mouse click on the workspaces switcher to go add new workspaces as instructed in help but all I can do is add rows and columns. There is no place to add number of works spaces.

I have CompizConfig installed. I found how to change it in the settings
in CompizConfig.

The preference option has the number of work space options available if
CompizConfig is un-installed. (Just tested) The number of work space
option disappears when CompizConfig is installed. So I would have to say
it has something to do with the install of CompizConfig.

This is kind of a bug and kind of not a bug. Just confusing to the end
user when they are use to going to the work space preferences when
adding or removing the quantity of work spaces.

I'm seeing the same problem too. But I didn't try disabling Compiz. This stuff used to work before in Dapper.
