Bug Description

Binary package hint: gnome-panel

I placed the Notification Area on a large panel attached to the right of my screen. I thought this would allow me to make the icons larger so that they were more accessible to me. This worked for launcher icons, however, the icons in the Notification Area did not get resized any larger, and as a result, they are awkward to use and see, since I don't have very good vision.

Steps to reproduce:
1) Place a Gnome Panel on the right-hand vertical side of the screen.
2) Resize the Gnome Panel to be 45 pixels wide.
3) Move the Notification Area to the new Gnome Panel.

Expected result:
The Notification Area icons resize to occupy a larger area.

Actual result:
The Notification Area icons do not resize.
