Bug Description

Binary package hint: gnome-panel

Before I used to be able to put my window list vertically on the right of my desktop, the list would expand downwards as expected, however since updating to gutsy, the window entries are now squashed into a quarter of the space, this happens with or without compiz (unlike i previously thought in bug 150253.

To repeat, from fresh ubuntu desktop.

1: place a panel on the right of your desktop, with nothing else on
2: add a window list to this panel
3: open a few windows
4: observe how they're all squashed into about a quarter of the panel

This may be part of bug 43066

But wouldn't call it duplicate since 43066 is from long before this new behaviour, which is only present in the latest version of gnome
