Bug Description

In the Gnome panel there is an About Ubuntu menu item. I have my preferred
browser set to Epiphany, but it still opens in Firefox. Also tried changing my
alternative, didn't work.

that's a local file so it uses the mimesystem, you can workaround it by right
clicking on a html file in nautilus and changing the "open with". Not sure on
how to fix that out of the box for moment ...

not fixed for me...

Whatever the config in "gnome-default-applications-properties" about default browser, desktop's file with content like that :

[Desktop Entry]
Encoding=UTF-8
Name=Lien vers ABC
Type=Link
URL=https://mail.google.com/
Icon=gnome-fs-bookmark
Name[fr_FR]=<email address hidden>

is opened with firefox, not with my default browser : epiphany ;(

any idea ?
