Missing icon warning pop-ups for shortcuts in gnome-panel drawers

When I open a drawer on my gnome-panel, I get warning pop-ups (stacked) for each
icon for the shotcuts in in the drawer that the shortcut's icon is missing e.g.:

   Failed to load image bug-buddy.png
   Details: Icon not found

The icons are shown, however. If I open the properties for the shortcut, the
icon is shown and everything looks OK.

The warning pop-ups are only shown the first time I click on the drawer. The
second and following times I open the drawer everything works normally.
