workspace switcher doesn't show correctly when the panel is vertical

Binary package hint: gnome-panel

I've just upgraded to feisty. I have a vertical panel, which I used to put the workspace switcher in. When I do that now, It is shown with very thin width, and doesn't fill the panel width. When I use it with a horizontal panel everything is fine.
I'm using an rtl locale (hebrew), which might contribute to the problem.

Looks fine here, using default English locale.

Good for you. I checked with POSIX/C English locale, and it seems to work
fine here too. I guess this bug is specific to RTL locales then.

The panel is on the left, and the two thin rectangles to its right are the workspaces.
